Arjun Tendulkar, son of former Indian captain and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, has been engaged to Sania Chandok. Sania is the granddaughter of renowned businessman Ravi Ghai. Sania Arjun is also a childhood friend of Tendulkar.

The Ghai family owns a hotel intercontinental and ice cream brand Brooklyn Creamery. The engagement was held at a private ceremony in which both families and close friends were present.

Who is Sania Chandok?

According to India Today, the Ghai family has a strong presence in the hospitality and food industries and owns the intercontinental hotel and popular ice cream brand Brooklyn Creamery. According to the official record of the Government of India (Ministry of Corporate Affairs), Sania is a designated partner and director at Mr. Pose Pet Spa & Store LLP, Mumbai. Sania's family has expanded its own business besides India, in which she has established its presence in the Middle East and other global markets.

Arjun's record as a cricketer

25-year-old Arjun Tendulkar is a left-arm medium pacer. He represents Goa in domestic cricket and has played for Mumbai Indians in IPL. Arjun has played 17 first-class, 18 list A and 24 T20 matches so far. He has taken 37 wickets in red-ball cricket, 25 in List A and 27 in T20. In addition, he has scored 532 in first-class cricket and 102 in List A. The 25 -year -old cricketer debuted in the Ranji Trophy against Rajasthan in Porworim on December 13, 2022 and scored 120 off 207 balls as number 7 batsman in the first innings. His father also scored a century in the Ranji Trophy debut.

In the IPL, Tendulkar plays for Mumbai Indians. He debuted in IPL against Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 16, 2023. However, in his first IPL match, he could not take any wickets despite throwing two overs in which he gave 17 runs.

Arjun took his first wicket in IPL during the MI's IPL 2023 match at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on April 18, 2023. Arjun dismissed Bhubaneswar Kumar on the fifth ball of the 20th over of the run chase. The star was caught by the Indian fast bowler Rohit Sharma.
