South Africa beat Pakistan by 10 wickets: 61 in 7.1 overs, 2-0 series win; Rickleton Player of the Test

South Africa beat Pakistan by 10 wickets in the second Test. The team got a target of 61 runs at home on the fourth day at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town, which the team chased down without loss in 7.1 overs. South Africa won the first Test by 2 wickets, taking the series 2-0 at home.

Opener Ryan Rickleton was the player of the match after playing a marathon innings of 259 runs in the first innings. Marco Jansen, who took 10 wickets, was selected as the player of the series.

Pakistan scored 478 runs in the second innings Pakistan continued their second innings on the fourth day with a score of 213/1. Shan Masood opened with a score of 102 runs. Night watchman Khurram Shahzad was dismissed after scoring 18 runs. After that all the batsmen got off to a good start, but none could play a big innings.

Masood was dismissed after scoring 145 runs. After that, Kamran Ghulam 28, Saeed Shakeel 23, Mohammad Rizwan 41, Salman Agha 48, Ameer Jamal 34 and Mir Hamza were dismissed with 16 runs. The team scored 478 runs in the second innings and South Africa got a target of 61 runs.

Shan Masood scored his maiden Test century in South Africa.

Rabada-Maharaj 3-3 wickets Kagiso Rabada and Keshav Maharaj took 3 wickets each in South Africa's bowling. Marco Jansen got 2 wickets and Kwena Mfaka 1 wicket. Mafaka took the big wicket of Masood. 3 bowlers of the team gave more than 100 runs.

Bedingham hit 5 fours and 2 sixes South Africa replaced Ryan Rickleton with David Bedingham to open the second innings. He batted quickly and scored 47 runs off just 30 balls to lead the team to victory. He hit 5 fours and 2 sixes. Against him, Aden Markram was not out scoring 14 runs in 13 balls.

Pakistan had to play the follow-on on the third day

Babar Azam scored fifties in both innings.

On the third day of the match, Pakistan could score only 194 runs in the first innings. South Africa gave them the follow-on, the team made a comeback in the second innings and scored 213 for the loss of one wicket. Shan Masood scored a century, while Babar Azam was dismissed for 81 runs.
