South Africa beat Zimbabwe by 328 runs in the Test: Pretorius declared Player of the Match, scoring 153 runs; Corbin Bosh took 5 wickets

South Africa beat Zimbabwe by a big margin of 328 runs in the first Test played in Bulawayo. With this, the visitor team took a 1-0 lead in the 2 Test series. Luhan Di Pretorious Player of the Match, 19, who scored 153 runs in his debut Test.

South Africa all -rounder Corbin Bosh scored a century in the first innings and then took 5 wickets in the second inning. In the second inning, Vian Mulder took 4 wickets and scored a century. Only Sean Williams was able to score a century from Zimbabwe.

Chivanga took 4 wickets in the first innings South Africa chose to bat on June 28. The team declared the first innings on a score of 418/9. Debutant Dewald Bravis scored 51 runs. From Zimbabwe, Tanaka Chivanga took 4 wickets and Blessing Muzarabani took 2 wickets. Wellington Masakadza and Vincent Massekasa got 1-1 wickets.

Just hit a century from Zimbabwe In the first innings, Zimbabwe's team was all out for 251. Only Sean Williams was able to score a century from the team. He scored 137 runs. Captain Craig Ervin 36, Brian Bennett 19, Wesley Madhever 15 and Vincent Massekasa scored 11. The remaining batters could not even touch the 10 -run figure. From South Africa, Vian Mulder took 4 wickets. Kodi Yusuf and Keshav Maharaj took 3-3 wickets.

Mulder scored a century in the second innings South Africa took a 167 -run lead in the first innings. In the second innings, Vian Mulder scored 147 from the team. Tony De Georgey scored 31, David Bedingham 35, Kyle Vian 36, Captain Keshav Maharaj 51 and Corbin Bosh scored 36.

South Africa scored 369 runs in the second innings and gave a target of 537 runs. Wellington Masakadza took 4 wickets from Zimbabwe. Tanaka Chivanga and Vincent Masekesa got 2-2 wickets. Wesley Madhavare and Blessing Muzarabani took 1-1 wickets.

Vian Mulder scored 147 runs.

Only 1 Fifty came in the second innings from Zimbabwe Zimbabwe's team fell against the big target on the fourth day of the match. Only Wellington Masakadza was able to score a fifty. He scored 57 runs. Captain Craig Arvin scored 49, Sean Williams 26 and Blessing Muzarabani scored 32. The remaining batters could not cross the 15 -run figure.

In the second innings of South Africa, Corbin Bosh took 5 wickets and Kodi Yusuf took 3 wickets. Keshav Maharaj and Dawald Brevis took 1-1 wickets. Zimbabwe was only able to score 208 runs and the team lost the match by 328 runs. The second test will be played in Bulawayo from July 6.
