South Africa beat Zimbabwe by 5 wickets in the first T-20 match of the triangular series. Player of the Match Davald Bravis won his team by scoring 41 off 17 balls. Zimbabwe scored 141 runs in Harare on Monday. South Africa lose 5 wickets in the 16th over and chase the target.
Zimbabwe's bad beginning South Africa won the toss and decided to bowl. Zimbabwe had a bad start. Wesley Madhever returned to the pavilion with 1 run and wicketkeeper Klein Madand returned with 8 runs. Brian Bennett and Sikandar Raza scored more than 50 runs to the team. Bennett was out for 30 runs.
Captain Alexander Raza then scored the Fifty and along with Ryan Berl scored more than 120 runs to the team. Berl was dismissed for 29. Raza scored 54 runs. He got the team to 141 runs. Tashinga Muskiva was dismissed for 9 runs.
Sikandar Raza scored half a century.
Lindee 3 wickets Left -handed spinner George Lind took 3 wickets for just 10 runs from South Africa. Right-handed fast bowler Lungi Angidi, left-handed fast bowler Nandre Burger and leg spinner Kabiomzi Peter took 1-1 wickets. Corbin Bosch and Andel Simelen had no success.
Harman and Bravis won While chasing a target of 142 runs, South Africa lost 3 wickets for 38 runs. Captain Rasi van der Dusen was dismissed for 16 and Riza Hendrix was dismissed for 11. Luhan Dre could not even open the Pretorious Account. Rubin Herman then handled the innings with Dewald Bravis and crossed the team for 100 runs.
Bravis scored 41 off 17 balls with 1 fours and 5 sixes. Harman was dismissed after scoring 45 off 37 balls with 5 fours and 1 six. Finally, Corbin Bosh scored 23 runs and George Lind scored 3 runs in the 16th over. From Zimbabwe, Richard Nagarawa took 3 wickets and Trevor Gwandu took 2 wickets.
South Africa won the match in just 15.5 overs.
The second match will be played on July 16 South Africa have won the first T20 match of the triangular series and scored 2 points. The second match of the series will be played between South Africa and New Zealand on July 16. The final match of the series will be played on July 26.
