The postal department on Tuesday issued a special cancellation letter on India's victory in the Champions Trophy, on which 'Vijayotsav' is written.
Amitabh Singh, Chief Postal General Manager of Maharashtra Circle, said, “This special cancellation is an important step in honoring India's sports achievements and celebrating this historic victory.”
2 days ago, on March 9, the Indian team won the Champions Trophy title by beating New Zealand by 4 wickets. Team India has won the Champions Trophy 12 years later. The team has won the tournament for the third time.
The order for this special cancellation was issued by the Maharashtra Circle of the Indian Postal Department.
