Suspense remains unchanged on Indo-Bangladesh Series: BCB President said- BCCI is waiting for government approval, if not in August, the series will take place later

India's Bangladesh tour will begin on August 17.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam has said that the situation on the ODI and T20 series against India is still not clear. He said that the Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI) is waiting for its government approval.

India is scheduled to travel to Bangladesh from August 17, where 3 ODIs and 3 T20 matches were to be played. But because of the current political situation, this series seems difficult to hold on time. Aminul said that if this series could not be held in August, we will try to organize it at any other time in the future.

Discussions are underway on options- Aminul Talking to the media after a board meeting held at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Monday (June 30), Aminul Islam said, “We are having a positive conversation with BCCI. It is not necessary that the series is held in August or September, we are planning to hold it at some other time.”

Aminul Islam became president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board on May 30.

Preparations to change in the selection committee Aminul said a female selector would be included for the women's team soon. Currently, only Sajjad Ahmed is the female team selector. He said that the seriousness of women cricket was being increased.

Changes are also being made to the selection committee of the male team. Currently, there are two members, Ghazi Ashraf and Abdul Razzaq, but now one more selector will be added so that the selection process can be done more efficiently. Aminul said, “It is becoming difficult for 2 people to cover everything, so expansion is necessary.”

Simon Taufel was entrusted with the responsibility of reforming umpiring in Bangladesh Former international elite umpire Simon Toufel will now train umpires in Bangladesh. He has received a 3 -year contract. Aminul said, Simon Taufel and his team will work with us to train Bangladesh umpires.

Preparations for BPL in December-January The BCB also decided that the next Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will be held in December-January. This time the responsibility of planning the event will be entrusted to the event management company, so that the league can be executed more efficiently.
