Indian men and women's cricket team met King Charles-III of England at St. James Palace. India is currently on a tour of England where a 5 -Test series is being played. England are currently 2-1. They won the second (Lord's) Test by 22 runs.
Captain Shubhman Gill, Vice Captain Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul and head coach Gautam Gambhir were also present on the special visit. Introduced the team at the Clarence House Garden with King Charles III, where he interacted with the players.
On this special occasion, King Charles also did a photo session with all the players. Regarding the visit, Captain Gill said, “It is a matter of honor for us that King Charles-III invited us.”

It was special to meet King Charles III- Harmanpreet “It was a special experience to meet King Charles III. This was our first meeting with him and he is very friendly.”
“We are playing good cricket and we are getting many opportunities to show ourselves,” he further said.
The Indian women's team recently won the T20 series against the England women's team in England. The team won the 5-match series 3-2. The team will also play 3 ODIs from July 16 to 22.

Lose 22 runs in the Lord's Test On the fifth day of the Lord's Test, the Indian team was all out for just 170 runs in the second innings. The target was 193 runs. In the first session, England captain Ben Stokes and fast bowler Jofra Archer put India in trouble by Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul and Washington Sundar.
After this, a good partnership between Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Reddy began. But before lunch, Chris Vox gave India's hopes a big hit by Reddy. By lunch, India had reached 112/8.
Jofra Archer, who is playing Test after 4 years, sent the pavilion to Yashwashi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant and Washington Sundar in the second innings.
In the second session, Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah joined. The two made the match a bit exciting by sharing 35 runs. But Bumrah tried to play a big shot and was out for 5 runs.

India had some hope of winning in the third session, but off -spinner Shoaib Bashir bowled Siraj and England won the match by 22 runs.
