The Indian team started practice before the Champions Trophy: BCCI shared photos and videos; Pant was injured at Hardik's ball

The Indian team has started practice before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The team worked hard at the ICC Academy in Dubai on Sunday. The team's first match in the tournament will be played against Bangladesh on February 20.

The BCCI shared videos and photos of the team's practice. According to a PTI report, wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was hit by a hearty Pandya during the practice.

All batters, including Shreyas Iyer, sweated a lot in the net.

Hardik's ball knocked Pant's knee Pant suffered a knee injury during a practice session. A shot of Hardik hit Pant's left knee. He was grinning with pain, but physio Kamlesh Jain immediately treated him. After this, Hardik came out of the net to find out his condition. Pant was initially in pain and was found lame. However, the injury was not serious and after the physio was treated, Pant immediately wore his pads and came to the net to bat.

India's first match against Bangladesh on February 20 The Indian team will play their first match against Bangladesh in the Champions Trophy. The match will be played at Dubai International Stadium on February 20. The second match of the team will be against Pakistan on February 23 and the third match will be against New Zealand on March 2.

India has been kept in Group-A with Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand. Two semifinals of the tournament will be played on March 4 and 5. The final will be played on March 9.

Reserve: Yashwashi Jaiswal, Mohammad Siraj and Shivam Dubey.
