Shami and his daughter Ayra issued a fatwa
It was made in March this year. The match was going on between Australia and India. It was Ramzan's month. Mohammed Shami was seen drinking energy drinks on the ground. Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi, the national president of the All India Muslim Jamaat in Bareilly, expressed his displeasure at Mohammad Shami. He said, Shami did not keep Rosa during Ramzan, which is a sin. He is a criminal in the eyes of Sharia. He never wanted to do so. '
Shami complies with Sharia's rules
Shahabuddin Razvi said-
Everyone has the responsibility of complying with Sharia's rules. Rosa is mandatory in Islam. If a person does not knowingly Rosa, he is considered a sinner according to Islamic law. Playing cricket is not bad, but religious responsibilities should be fulfilled. I advise Shami to comply with Sharia's rules and to be responsible for my own religion.
The talk was not over. Shami's daughter played with colors on Holi. Shami's ex -wife Hussein Jahan posted a photo of his daughter on social media. Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi said in this regard – playing with colors is against Sharia and illegal.
Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi, the national president of the All India Muslim Jamaat, issued a fatwa against Shami.
Maulana said- she is a little girl, if she played Holi without any understanding, it is not a crime. If she has become wise. Even if Holi plays after this, it will be considered opposite.
He said- I have appealed to all family members, including Shami, that they should not allow their children to do things that are not in Sharia. Holi is a big festival for Hindus, but Muslims should avoid playing with colors because if Holi plays despite knowing a Shariat, it is a sin.
Shami did not respond to Maulana's advice. However, his ex -wife Hussein Jahan said that his daughter did nothing wrong with playing Holi.
Shami's performance in the IPL was bad, he took 6 wickets in 9 matches Mohammad Shami's IPL has been a bad performance for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2025. It was purchased for Rs 10 crore in the IPL 2025 auction. He has taken 6 wickets at an economy rate of 11.23 in 9 matches.
He also scored a shameful record of giving the highest run in the IPL match by giving 75 runs against Punjab Kings. Therefore, this bad form in the IPL has forced Akash Chopra to think about whether Shami will be included in the Indian team for a tour of England.
