What did Shubhman Gill say?

  • On Rohit's retirement I have not heard of anything from anyone in the team yet. It is possible that Rohit should make a decision after the match. But now everyone's focus is only on the finals.
  • On his form, the final match I don't think in advance. I give a reaction to the ball at that moment. I'm very excited. This is my second final. I will perform better than last time. And I want to win.
  • On his vice-captainship I am learning to face pressure. My job is to calm the players under pressure. I am slowly learning these things.
  • On the defeat in the ODI World Cup of 2023 Yes, we lost that match on the same pitch. But we think about improving our performance. This is teamwork. No one ever discovers a blame in another.
  • At a slow pace The wicket is very slow. No match has been scored in any match this season. I think it will be like that.
