World No.1 Sabalenka won the US Open for the second time in a row: defeats Anisimova in a straight set; Final of Men's Category Between Sinner-Alcarz today

In the final played at Arthur Ashe Stadium on Saturday night, Sabalenka (27), the world's number one and defending champion, Sabalenka (27) won the US Open title for the second consecutive time by beating American Amanda Anisimova 6-3, 7-6 (7/3).

This is his fourth Grand Slam. This was Sabalenka's third Grand Slam final this year. She had previously lost to American players twice. She lost to Madison Keys at the Australian Open in January and Coco Gouf at the French Open in June. The final match of the men's category will be played between Carlos Alkaraz and Genic Sinner on Sunday.

In the Wimbledon semifinal she lost to Anisimova

Last year, Sabalenka won its first US Open title by beating American player Jessica Pegula. In addition, she also became the first woman to win the trophy at the US Open after Serena Williams in 2012-14.

Sabalenka lost to Anisimova in the Wimbledon semifinal in July. Before the final, nine matches were played between the two players. Anisimova has won 6 matches.

After defeating Sabalenka at the All England Club, Anisimova lost 6-0, 6-0 against Ega Swiatech in her first Grand Slam final.
