WPL: Gujarat beat UP Warriors by 81 runs: Beth Mooney missed 4th century, Harli scored 45; Kashvi and Tanuja 3-3 wickets fast

In the 15th match of the Woman's Premier League (WPL) Season 3, the Gujarat Giants beat UP Warriors by 81 runs. This is the only third win of the team this season. Beth Mooni from Gujarat scored 96* and Harlin Deol scored 45. Kashvi Gautam and Tanuja Kanwar took 3-3 wickets.

UP chose to bowl at a stadium in Lucknow on Monday. Gujarat scored 186 runs after losing 5 wickets. In reply, UP's team was all out for 105 runs. Shenel Henry scored 28 runs.

Mooni-Harlin participated in the century Gujarat, who was batting before losing the toss, lost the wicket of Dayalan Hemlatha in the first over. Hemlata could only score 2 runs. Beth Mooni then scored a fifty and shared 101 runs with Harlin Deol. Harlin was dismissed for 45.

Captain Ashley Gardner was only able to score 11 runs. Diandra Dotin scored 17, Phoby Lichfield 8 and Bharti Phulmali only scored 2 runs. Mooni scored 96 runs on one end and scored the team to 186. Sophie Ekestone took 2 wickets from UP. Shenel Henry and Deepti Sharma took 1-1 wickets.

UP's very bad beginning UP Warriors had a bad start when chasing the 187 -run target. The team lost 2 wickets in the first over. Kiran Navgir and Georgia Wall also could not open. Vrinda Dinesh was dismissed for 1 run, captain Deepti Sharma was dismissed for 6 runs and Shweta Sehravat was dismissed for 5 runs. The team lost 5 wickets for 36 runs.

Diandra Dotin took 2 wickets in the first over of the innings.

Opener Grace Harris scored 25, wicketkeeper Uma Chhatri 17 and Shenel Henry scored 28. Sophie Eklasto received support from one end but did not support it from the other end. Gauhar could not even open Sultan's account. Eclestone was dismissed for 14 and the team was all out for 105 in 17.1 overs.

Kashwi took 3 wickets Fast bowlers Kashvi Gautam and Tanuja Kanwar took 3-3 wickets from Gujarat. Diandra Dotin took 2 wickets. Meghna Singh and Captain Ashley Gardner took 1-1 wickets.

Kashvi Gautam took 3 wickets for 11 runs.

Gujarat arrives at third place Defeating UP by a big margin of 81 runs, the team of Gujarat Giants reached the third place in the points table. The team has pushed UP Warriors to fifth. Delhi is number one with 10 points. Mumbai is second and Bengaluru is fourth.
