Indian opener Yashwashi Jaiswal will be seen playing domestic cricket for Goa next season. Not only that, it can also be made a Captain of Goa.

Third Yashwashi is the third cricketer to leave Mumbai and play from Goa. Earlier, Arjun Tendulkar and Siddhartha Lad have played for Goa. Tendulkar-Lad played for Goa in the 2022-23 seasons. Siddhartha also returned to Mumbai. He also stayed in the cooling period.

Jaiswal has played 19 matches for India Yashwashi Jaiswal made a Test debut against the West Indies in July 2023 and has since been the first choice as an opener. Yashwashi has played 19 matches for India after debuting and performed brilliantly on the big platform. He has an average of more than 52 in the Test and has scored four centuries and 10 half centuries while playing for India in this format.
