Yokovich reaches the quarterfinals of Wimbledon for the 16th time: Australia's Minor defeat, Yuki-Galloway's pair of Men's Doubles out of Men's doubles

Serbian tennis star Novak Yokovich has reached the quarter-finals of Wimbledon-2025. He defeated Australia's 11th-seeded Alex de Minor 1-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in a round of 16 matches on Monday night.

38 -year -old Yokovich has entered the quarter -finals of the tournament for the 16th time. He will now face the Italian star Flavio Coli.

In addition to Yokovich, Taylor Fritz of the United States, Karen Khahanov of Russia, Cameron Nori of Britain and Carlos Alkarez of Spain have also reached the top-8. In the women's category, the world's No.1 Arena Sabalenka, Germany's Laura Sigand, Amanda Anisimov of the United States, Belinda Benysic of Switzerland, Russia's Ludmila Samsonova has also reached the quarter-finals.

Also, India's Yuki Bhambri and its American partner Robert Gallowow's male doubles category defeated Spain's Marcel Granolers and Horassio Zebalos of Argentina.

The quarter -finals of the Yokovich will be against the Flavio Kobi of Italy.

Taylor Fritz got a walkover In the men's singles, Taylor Fritz of the world's No. 5 America received a walkover against Australia's Jordan Thompson. At the time of walkover, Fritz was 6-1, 3-0. In the second match, Russia defeated Karen Khahanove Kamil Majill of Poland 6-4, 6-2, 6-3. Britain's Cameron Nori entered the top-8 by defeating Chile's Nicholas Jerry 6-3, 7-6, 6-7, 6-7, 6-3 and Carlos Alkarez of Spain, Andre Rubelev 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4.

Taylor Fritz will face Karen Khahanov in the quarter -finals on July 8.

Sabalenka Beat Martens in a straight set Arena Sabalenka of the world's No.1 Belarus defeated Mertens 6-4, 7-6 (7-4). Germany's Laura Sigmond defeated Argentina's Solana Sierra 6-3, 6-2. America's Amanda Anisimov defeated Linda Noskova of Czech Republic 6-2, 5-7, 6-4. Switzerland's Belinda Benisic defeated Alexandrova of Ekaterina 7-6, 6-4. Russia's Ludmila Samsonova defeated Spain's Jessica Bujas Manero 7-5, 7-5.

Arya's Sabalenka quarter -final match will be against Laura Sigamund on July 8.

India's Yuki Bhambari was defeated in the men's doubles The 16th Indian pair Yuki and Gallowowe gave a strong fight to their fourth -seeded rivals, but the result did not come to their favor. The pair lost to 4-6, 6-3, 6-7 (10) in a thrilling match that lasted two hours and nine minutes. With the out of Yuki, the Indian challenge in Wimbledon ended.

Prior to this, Argentina's Marcelo Arolis and Croatia's Matt Pavik made it to the quarter -finals. The number-1 pair defeated the Czech Republic's Patrick Rickle and Peter Nauja with a margin of 7-5, 7-6 (15-13). Tim Putz and Kevin Kravitz of the world's number 3 Germany also faced upset. The duo were defeated by Australia's Rinki Hizikata and David Pale of the Netherlands 6-2, 6-4.
