Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal will visit England for the County Championship and ODI Cup after the IPL. He will play from Northhamptonshire. The team has confirmed this.
A post from the English Club said that Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal will be part of the Northhomptorshire team from June to end of the season. His first match is expected to be against Middlesex on June 22.
Chahal took 19 wickets last year Chahal has played for Northamptonshire last season. He played an important role in delivering the team to the fourth place. During the tournament, he took 19 wickets at an average of 21.10 in four matches. During this period, its best bowling figure was 9 wickets for 99 runs.
Yuzvendra Chahal Team Out from India Yuzvendra Chahal is currently out of Team India. He was part of the team to win the T20 World Cup in 2024 but did not get a chance to play a single match. He played the last ODI for India in January 2023 and the last T20 August 2023. Even after this, in the IPL 2025 auction, Punjab Kings bought it for Rs 18 crore.
In the 72 ODIs played so far, he has taken 121 wickets with an economy of 5.27 and has taken 96 wickets with an economy of 8.19 in 80 T20 matches.
