Liston not satisfied with scoring a goal by dribbling five footballers

He had no goals or assists in seven games this season before coming off against Jamshedpur on Saturday. On Saturday, he scored his first goal of the season after dribbling five opposing players. Even then Liston Colaco is not satisfied.

He had no goals or assists in seven games this season before coming off against Jamshedpur on Saturday. However, he came to the press conference before the match and said in Bengali, “There will be a goal”. That’s what he did. He also dribbled five football players from the opposition. But Liston Colaco is not satisfied. He is not willing to call this the best goal of his life.

When Colaco received Manbir Singh’s cross from the right in the first-half stoppage time, five opposition players tried to block him. After several dribbles from outside the box, he reached the middle of the box and put the ball in the net with a sharp shot with his left foot.

Liston said after the match, “This win is a great motivation. We have to continue to play well and we will practice hard.” The 26-year-old footballer has played 104 matches in the ISL so far. Scored 18 goals and 16 assists.

When asked whether Saturday’s goal was his best goal, Liston did not agree. According to him, the goal against Mumbai City last season was the best. Said, “It’s not my best goal. The goal I scored against Mumbai City in the League-Shield last season was even more valuable. That goal helped us win the League-Shield. But this goal will also be memorable for me. Because this is my first goal this season. Every goal is important.”
