Manchester City Held to Draw by Crystal Palace

In a thrilling English Premier League clash, Crystal Palace managed to hold Manchester City to a 2-2 draw, making it harder for the four-time defending champions to retain their title. City had recently secured their first win in seven games, defeating Nottingham Forest 2-0. However, this draw against Crystal Palace left them sharing points, as they came from behind twice in the match. Erling Haaland and Rico Lewis scored for City, while Daniel Munoz and Maxence Lacroix found the net for Palace.

Following this result, Pep Guardiola’s side sits in fourth place in the league, trailing leaders Liverpool by eight points. In other matches, Aston Villa beat Southampton 1-0, and Brentford claimed a 4-2 victory over Newcastle.

In another upset, Nottingham Forest stunned Manchester United with a 3-2 win. Forest took an early lead when Nikola Milenkovic scored with a header in the second minute. Manchester United responded with an equalizer from Rasmus Hojlund, but Forest regained the lead in the second half with goals from Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood. Bruno Fernandes scored for United, but it wasn’t enough to stop Forest from taking all three points.
