India’s tennis legend Rohan Bopanna has urged private sponsors and the national tennis federation to back promising players like Karan Singh. Bopanna, currently representing Rajasthan Rangers in the ongoing Tennis Premier League (TPL), emphasized the need for strong support to nurture young talent in the sport.
Speaking about Karan Singh, Bopanna said, “I have been watching Karan play, and he is a very talented player. It’s important that private sponsors and the national federation come forward to promote such gifted athletes.”

The Rajasthan Rangers are performing well in the league, currently standing third on the points table with 154 points and competing for a spot in the finals.
Bopanna, playing in the TPL for the first time, is competing in both men’s doubles and mixed doubles. Reflecting on the league’s impact, he added, “It’s great to see young players getting the opportunity to play on such a big stage.”
